The Powley "Tangent Boat Tail" projectile is very similar to the Sierra "MatchKing" series of target bullets with their tangent ogive noses. While other manufacturers like Hornady have embraced the more efficient secant nose for many of their target bullets, (for which the SBT projectile shape will be more suitable), Sierra have so far refused to go down that road - probably because secant bullets tend to be fussy about seating depth in a way which tangent ogive bullets are not.
